Description: On December 5 2020 the Plaintiff was unlawfully stopped, battered and arrested by NYPD Officer Matthew Salzman, Joseph Vigiano, and John or Jane Doe. He was wrongfully detained before his release from custody 3 days later on December 8 2020 during which the Officers initiated a malicious prosecution. The Officers accused the Plaintiff of committing a false offense before grabbing his head and searching his person in an invasive manner without cause. Description: On April 20, 2021, while the plaintiff, an African American, was on a street, defendant NYPD officers, including Mathew Salzman, Orlando Perez, Neil Narayan, and John or Jane Doe 1-10, falsely identified the plaintiff as a gunshot suspect, despite the plaintiff repeatedly explaining that he had not committed any illegal actions. The defendants proceeded to arrest the plaintiff. During the arrest, the defendants violently grabbed the plaintiff, jerking and pulling him in different directions, and threw him to the ground, placing their knees on his back and neck without any reasonable cause.
