Description: On February, 1, 2010, in Queens, Plaintiff Pierre Nicholas was falsely arrested and, through abuse of process and malicious prosecution, later falsely imprisoned by Defendant, NYPD Officer Jeremiah Winters. Though Plaintiff had called the cops and though at the time Winters arrived he was being chased by two men who had been yelling derogatory racial names at him, Defendant Winters nevertheless arrested Plaintiff, charging him with possession of a knife that had in fact belonged to one of the two men who had given Plaintiff chase.
