Description: On June 2, 2019, Randy Swinson was properly at 184 7th Ave. of Manhattan when he was arrested by NYPD officers Vincent Candela, Michael Farewell, and Robert Humann. The officers had no justifiable reason or a warrant to arrest Swinson, but proceeded to do so, and in the course of this arrest, assaulted Swinson without a justifiable reason. Such an action inflicted severe physical injury, mental anguish, shock, fright, apprehension, embarrassment, humiliation, and reputational harm on Swinson; Swinson was then taken to a hospital to treat his injuries. Swinson was subsequently detained without his consent or a justifiable reason. Swinson was detained with physical restraints and experienced fear for his safety. ...

Description: On June 2nd, 2019, Plaintiff and his wife were assaulted and arrested by NYPD officers and had their property stolen. Officers Robert Humann, Michael Farewell, and VIncent Candela all brutally beat Plaintiff using their handcuffs to slash at his hands and wrists. Plaintiff suffered severe injuries on his hands. Plaintiff was then taken by EMTs to Bellevue hospital where plaintiff was denied and limited care.
