Michael Gandolfi, Sgt. Steven Cameron, Dets. Robert McGee and James Coll, and unidentified NYPD John Does. Description: On June 5, 2014 fourteen-year-old infant Plaintiff was talking to friends from his neighborhood when PO Robert Holzapfel and POs John Does 1-4 approached and arrested Plaintiff for an alleged robbery and assault. PO Holzapfel applied the handcuffs too tightly and did not loosen them when Plaintiff requested. Plaintiff was unlawfully interrogated at the precinct and was not allowed to contact his parents. Plaintiff was also strip searched. Plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately 43 hours before he was released, and was compelled to return to court twice to defend against a malicious prosecution until his case was dismissed on October 7, 2014.
