Description: Defendant officers went to Plaintiff's apartment and arrested her two sons in response to a DV call. When Plaintiff returned home, she saw her sons in a police car outside and went to enter her apartment. Officers then twisted her arms behind her back in an attempt to arrest her but then let her go when they were told she wasn't involved. Plaintiff went to the police precinct on her own accord and was directed to sit a room where police officers later entered and arrested her. Plaintiff was charged with various crimes that were eventually dismissed.

Description: On February 3, 2015, plaintiff was awaken by defendant police officers who advised plaintiff that there was a warrant for his arrest. At the time, he was residing at a homeless shelter in Brooklyn. Plaintiff was told to get out of bed, but plaintiff informed the officers he had a migraine, and would like to take medication before leaving. After taking an excedrin, the police officers kicked and kneed the plaintiff. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct, but then removed from the precinct to go to the hospital and have his injuries treated which he received at the hands of defendants. Plaintiff was assaulted without just cause and suffered numerous injuries as a result.
