Description: Plaintiff went to the PSA 6th precinct to ask how to get her car back that had been seized by the NYPD the day before. Instead of providing help, Defendant Diaz insulted her and asked her to leave the building. Defendant officer Diaz indicated he'd help and instead handcuffed her and called an ambulance letting them know Plaintiff should be handled as an "emotionally disturbed person". Plaintiff was taken to Harlem Hospital where she was injected with prescription and admitted to the hospital without her consent. Dr. Lescouflair, Dobroshi, and Dudley all performed psychological evaluations and upon recommendations, plaintiff was confined to the hospital and not released until September 22, 2014.

Description: On August 13, 2012, Plaintiff was riding his bike home in Brooklyn when a Defendant Officer approached, ordered him off his bike and told him to put his hands up. Plaintiff complied and Defendant searched him. Plaintiff told the Defendant he was just riding home and then Defendant searched him a second time and handcuffed him despite no contraband being recovered and no probable cause or reasonable suspicion that Plaintiff had committed any crime. Plaintiff was brought to the Precinct and Defendant Officers levied false claims against him. Those charges were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal.
