Description: On November 27th, 2023 plaintiff was arrested by P.O. Brent Andreoli and John Doe. Defendants claimed there was an outstanding bench warrant against plaintiff. Plaintiff explained he was not the subject of the warrant, that his cousin had used his name when arrested and that he had been wrongfully arrested for this reason before. Defendants failed to investigate whether plaintiff was indeed the person subject to the warrant. Plaintiff was placed in a cell at the 19th Precinct and detained overnight. The next morning, plaintiff was fingerprinted and photographed by Det. John Doe and transported to Central Booking where he stayed till the nest morning.
