Description: On or about September 22nd, 2017, Plaintiff was lawfully returning home from work when he was approached by PO Marino Lorenzo and PO "John Doe" of the NYPD. PO Lorenzo arrested Plaintiff for armed robbery. Plaintiff had not committed any robbery and no proceeds from the robbery were recovered from his person or his home. PO Lorenzo instigated the commencement of a false and malicious criminal prosecution of Plaintiff. Bail was set at Plaintiff's arraignment. Plaintiff was incarcerated in NYPD custody for 6 days. On March 27th, 2018, the charges against Plaintiff were dismissed and sealed.

Description: On or about September 29, 2013 at approximately 3:00 a.m. POs Marino Lorenzo, John Doe, and John Roe touched, grabbed, handcuffed, seized, and arrested Plaintiff in an excessive manner and falsely accused Plaintiff of crimes he did not commit. POs transported Plaintiff to a police station where he was criminally processed. POs caused a malicious prosecution to be commenced against Plaintiff. Plaintiff was incarcerated for several hours and thereafter required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against him were terminated favorably. Plaintiff sustained physical and emotional pain and injuries as a result of this incident.
