Complaint
Description: On or about November 19, 2015, Jaquan Monroe was forcibly brought by members of the New York City Police Department to the 48th Precinct in the Bronx. Detective Lincoln Archambeau, along with other officers, handcuffed Monroe and accused him of several charges, including Murder in the Second Degree, Manslaughter in the Second Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. Monroe was detained and remained incarcerated at various facilities until he posted bail and was released on or about August 15, 2016. The criminal case ended on April 10, 2017, with a jury verdict of not guilty.
