Description: On September 19, 2019 officers entered Deon Chin's and Michael Howell's apartments to execute a search warrant for their husband/father. He was not in the building, and the warrant did not authorize his arrest. Officers found no illegal materials while searching the apartments however they arrested plaintiffs, detained them at the 63rd precinct, interrogated them, and then released them without charges. The subject of the search warrant was not arrested and no charges were filed against him after the events.

Description: On April 7,2017 Office Trunk alleged that Plaintiff had trespassed and burglarized a location. Plaintiff was never seen by the officers or identified by anyone as having been at the residence. However, Officer Trunk and others illegally stopped and seized the plaintiff and placed in handcuffs. The officers then told the DA's office falsely that the Plaintiff had been observed committing a crime.
After 2 hours, the Plaintiff was released and all charges were dismissed.

Description: On November 21, 2017, plaintiff was walking alone on the sidewalk when defendant P.O. Adair approached him, pushed him and told him to walk the other way. Plaintiff asked the officer not to touch him as he had recently had surgery and continued walking. P.O. Adair tackled plaintiff from behind, causing him to fall to the ground. Other officers then grabbed plaintiff by his right arm and one punched plaintiff in his head. Plaintiff was then handcuffed too tightly and transported first to the precinct and later Central Booking where he was falsely charged with resisting arrest. All charges were ultimately dismissed.
