Description: On March 30, 2020, plaintiff was lawfully in his home and asleep when defendant police officers banged on his door and claimed that they had received a noise complaint. Plaintiff told the officers that he was making no noise at all, yet the officers broke the door and entered. The officers then sprayed pepper spray on plaintiff and then tased him in the back. In fear for his life, plaintiff fled to his bedroom, but the officers violently attacked, punched, and tased him many times more. Plaintiff was then handcuffed and arrested, bleeding on the ground. Description: On May 18, 2019, plaintiff was lawfully in his vehicle in the vicinity of 1356 Hicks Street, Bronx, when defendant police officers, without any probable or reasonable cause, stopped plaintiff and requested ID and registration. Plaintiff complied with the request, yet he was then pulled out of his vehicle by defendants, pushed against another car, and violently thrown to the ground. One of the officers used taser against plaintiff. Defendants then arrested plaintiff and detained him. Criminal charges were later made against plaintiff but were all dismissed in favor of him. As a result of the incident, plaintiff sustained severe physical and emotional injury.
