Description: On or about July 14, 2019, defendants, including PO Joshua Sailor, approached and unlawfully searched Plaintiff without reasonable suspicion or other lawful basis within the vicinity of Foch Blvd and Guy R. Brewer Blvd. Defendants recovered no contraband. Defendants then falsely accused Plaintiff of making graffiti, inter alia, although defendants knew them to be false. Defendants handcuffed and arrested Plaintiff using excessive force. At the Precinct, Defendants falsely informed employees of the DA's Office that they had observed Plaintiff commit various crime/offenses. While in custody, Plaintiff was subject to assault by other inmates and sustained severe and permanent injuries. All charges were dismissed.

Description: On May 31, 2017, Plaintiff discovered that the locks on Plaintiff's residence had been cut and Plaintiff dog was missing. Upon investigating, Plaintiff learned that police officers and agents from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) had been at Plaintiff residence. Plaintiff went to the 113th Precinct to inquire about Plaintiff's dog, where Plaintiff learned that the dog had died while in the custody of the police and ASPCA. Plaintiff was then falsely arrested and detained by NYPD Officer Joshua Sailor and ASPCA agent Isadora Peraza-Martinez.
