Plaintiff was incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearance over an extended period of time until all charges against him were terminated favorably by dismissal. Plaintiff alleged physical and emotional pain and injuries as a result of this incident.

Description: On February 22, 2018 at approximately 10:00 PM, Aisha Reed was inside a cab parked in the vicinity of 182nd St. and Davidson Avenue, Bronx NY. NYPD Officers including Defendant Officer Frank, approached the vehicle. Frank opened the passenger door and ordered Reed to exit. The driver confirmed to the officers that Reed had paid the fare for Julian Tumma, who had just exited the cab, and he was transporting her to a second location. The other officers grabbed Tumma after he exited the cab and slammed him over the hood of the car. Reed tried to record this, but the officer confiscated her cell phone.
