Description: On or about July 3, 2012, Plaintiff was lawfully in the lobby of his apartment building when Defendant officers Leclair and Beegan, as well as several other unknown Defendant NYPD officers, accosted Plaintiff and searched him. The Defendants placed Plaintiff under arrest without probable cause or legal justification. Plaintiff was transported to a nearby precinct and falsely charged with a crime. The Defendants falsely stated that they had witnessed Plaintiff selling drugs in the lobby which was untrue. All charges against Plaintiff were eventually dismissed.
