Description: On August 8, 2013, at approximately 12:30 a.m., plaintiff Anthony Alston was driving in the vicinity of Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Van Buren Street in Brooklyn, New York, when he was ordered to pull over by Police Officers Roman Goris (Shield 14772) and Salwa Jwayyed (Shield 26007). He was subjected to a patdown, strip search, and body cavity search, during which his arm was broken. Despite no probable cause, he was handcuffed and placed in a police car. Alston alleges excessive force, false arrest, and violation of his constitutional rights under the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments.
