Complaint
Description: On November 11, 2021, plaintiff Lenore Cheeseman was lawfully present inside the building where her disabled son resided alone. The defendant officers approached the plaintiff and claimed that plaintiff's estranged husband had informed them plaintiff was in violation of a protective order that prohibited her from being at the building/home of their son. They then forcefully handcuffed the plaintiff behind her back and marched her out of the building in the view of people she knew.
Plaintiff was transported to the precinct and detained until the next day, where the DA declined to prosecute her.
