Complaint
Description: On September 2019, plaintiff was attending a picnic at Highland Park and felt faint as a result of his diabetes. Defendant police officers punched plaintiff in the face, falsely arrested him, forcibly handcuffed him, kicked him, struck him in the ribs with a baton, etc. They dragged plaintiff through the park until an EMS worker made them stop. Once taken to hospital, plaintiff was held in police custody for 12 hours without being charged. Plaintiff was subsequently taken to the precinct and central booking where he was falsely charged with offenses. Plaintiff was falsely prosecuted and deprived of medical attention for his diabetes for over four days.
