Description: On October 9, 2016, at approximately 2991 8th Avenue in Manhattan, Plaintiff was lawfully present when, without probable cause or a warrant, he was approached by NYPD Officer Carlos Gomez and three other unidentified NYPD officers. Plaintiff was stopped, searched, detained, handcuffed, imprisoned, arrested, removed from the above location, and taken into custody of the NYPD. Plaintiff was subjected to verbal and physical abuse and intimidation from the NYPD officers, and he was humiliated and embarrassed publicly. Plaintiff was illegally, unlawfully, and unconstitutionally incarcerated in New York City Correctional Facilities for four (4) days.
