Description: On December 1, 2013, plaintiff and her friend were at 40th Ave and 12th St, Queens, NY. Plaintiff just left her mother's house where a family gathering ended. As they stood, the friend's son, pulled up to the curb to say hello. As the son exited the vehicle, an unmarked police car pulled up and parked behind him. Two male, plain-clothed officers asked him for his license and registration. He complied with their request. A discussion ensued between the mother and the officers.
