Description: On August 10, 2012, Plaintiff was on the street when several Defendant NYPD police officers, including Detective Angus Mackenzie rushed towards Plaintiff and frisked him without reasonable suspicion, probable cause, or any legal justification. Although no drugs, weapons, or contraband was found on Plaintiff, the police officers handcuffed and arrested Plaintiff. After taking Plaintiff to a precinct, the police officers forced Plaintiff to undergo a strip search. The police officers then furnished false, incomplete, and/or misleading information to the District Attorney's Office which resulted in a prosecution against Plaintiff. All charges against Plaintiff were dismissed on May 14, 2013.
