Description: On May 3, 2023, Plaintiff, while in custody and awaiting arraignment on an unrelated matter, sought food after the end of a Ramadan fasting period. Officers Luis Santiago and others denied the accommodation. Plaintiff continued his requests and thereafter, Defendants removed Plaintiff from his cell and battered, assaulted, and isolated Plaintiff in another cell.
