Description: On or about September 21, 2017, in the vicinity of Bronx Terminal Mall, defendant NYPD officer Vargas and unknown officers John/Jane Doe I-IV approached plaintiff with loaded weapons, outstretched arms and bearing objects which they used to physically seize, strike and restrain plaintiff, without warrant or legal justification, placed plaintiff under arrest and took him into custody, first at the local precinct, and then at Bronx Central Booking. He was held for 29 hours until released upon the dismissal of all charges. Officer Vargas provided false and misleading information in order to induce the prosecution of plaintiff.
