Description: On December 7, 2012, Plaintiffs Amy Krakow (63 years old) and Gary Krakow (62 years old) were buying groceries. When Plaintiffs returned to the grocery store's private parking lot where their car was parked, they were informed their car would be towed without being shown any authority for such action. Plaintiffs called the police and approximately four uniformed and plain clothed officers arrived. Police officers include Karanja Jefferson (Shield # 12644) and other unidentified members of the New York Police Department.
