Description: On September 30, 2016 at approximately 9:00 a.m. Plaintiff, a construction worker, entered a subway station, lawfully swiped his MetroCard, and walked through the turnstile. PO Maria Lorenzo and Sgt. Jose Camacho abruptly approached and physically seized the Plaintiff, throwing him up against a wall. They then unlawfully searched Plaintiff, touching all areas of his body. A PO reached his hands into Plaintiff's pockets, removed all contents, and identified a legal carpenter's knife provided to Plaintiff by his job for his job. At no time were unlawful weapons or illegal contraband recovered from Plaintiff's person.
