Complaint
Description: On or about January 28, 2016, Plaintiff was assaulted by three individuals. Plaintiff called 911 to report the assault and request assistance. Defendant Police Officer William Rivera arrived at the address and arrested the Plaintiff for no apparent reason. Defendant Officer Rivera did not arrest the individuals who assaulted the Plaintiff. Plaintiff was then taken to the Precinct and later to Central Booking. Plaintiff saw a judge that evening where she was released on her own recognizance. All charges against Plaintiff were dismissed on January 30, 2017.
