Description: On or about January 14, 2017 at 1:30 a.m., the plaintiffs were home at 899 Schenectady Avenue, in Kings County. At about 2:00 a.m., a group of police officers, including Sabella, Chau, Singh, Triolo, Steiger, O'Brian, Modesto, Ortega, Becker, Villafone, and Chan, entered the home without a warrant and remained therein over the landlord's objections. The defendant officers proceeded to arrest plaintiffs without any probable cause. At the station house, defendant Matthew Sabella created arrest paperwork in which he claimed that he had observed the plaintiffs committing various crimes, though defendants at no time witnessed the plaintiffs commit any crimes. Description: On or about March 27, 2014, the two Plaintiffs were at one of the Plaintiff’s cousin’s house when several police officers rushed into the premises with guns drawn and flashlights, screaming and instructing everyone to freeze. Officers immediately grabbed one of the Plaintiffs, banged his head against a wall, and then threw him to the floor. One of the officers thereafter placed one of his feet on the head of Plaintiff, applying excessive and unnecessary pressure to his head with an intent to injure him. That Plaintiff was subsequently thrown on a bed, where he, including his private parts, were searched in full view of other officers.
