Description: Plaintiff’s stepbrother had a warrant issued for his arrest in April 2021 and lived with Plaintiff’s mother prior to 2021. Plaintiff and her mother lived in the same apartment building, but on different floors. Defendant Detective Felix Garcia unlawfully entered and searched for Plaintiff’s stepbrother in Plaintiff’s apartment, without a warrant. Defendant Detective Garcia knew that Plaintiff lived in the apartment he entered unlawfully.
