Description: On October 17, 2017, Cleveland White was stopped by Officer Hossain while driving near E. Fordham Road in the Bronx. Officer Hossain initially indicated that White would receive a ticket but left without issuing any. About thirty minutes later, seven unidentified officers arrived at White's residence, alleging that he had assaulted an officer, which he denied. White was subsequently detained, arrested, and subjected to a search without apparent cause. He was held for nearly 24 hours before release. White claims this arrest led to further parole violations, causing ongoing damages, and he alleges excessive force, false arrest, and violations of his constitutional rights by the NYPD and the City of New York​.
