Description: On or about August 26, 2021, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Plaintiff Steve Boursiquot was a lawful passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over by NYPD officers near Ocean Avenue and Farragut Road in Brooklyn, New York. After the stop, the front-seat passenger exited the vehicle and fled on foot, allegedly discarding a firearm before being apprehended. Despite having no involvement with the firearm, Plaintiff was ordered to exit the vehicle, lie face down, and was then handcuffed and arrested without probable cause.
