On August 24, 2019, at approximately 1:39 AM, at the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Duryea Place in Brooklyn, Police Officer Kerwin Adames and Police Officer Wardah Iqbal, both of the 70th Precinct, responded to a dispute involving a knife (BR 13). PO Adames and PO Iqbal stopped a dollar van (Allegations A and B - Abuse of Authority - [redacted]).
