Description: On June 6, 2018, the plaintiff was unlawfully arrested by defendant Officer Dervent Williams (Shield No. 1719) and other police officers. Plaintiff was approached, stopped, and searched without reason. Defendants-Officers violently grabbed her, pushed her up against a wall, and twisted her arms, causing injury. Plaintiff was wrongfully detained and handcuffed to a bench in a cell for four (4) hours at the 41st Precinct until her release with a summons. She was subject to an illegal strip search and cavity inspection at the direction of Defendant Williams without reasonable suspicion or probable cause. Plaintiff requested medical treatment but was not sent to a hospital as requested.
