Description: On February 5, 2020, at approximately, 3:00 p.m., in the vicinity of 848 Hunts Point Avenue, County of Bronx, NYPD Officer Geraldine Ozuna, along with other NYPD officers, approached plaintiff without legal justification and detained him by means of excessive force. The officers subjected plaintiff to a strip search before he was arraigned and falsely and maliciously prosecuted with committing a crime. As a result of the officers’ excessive force, plaintiff suffered severe physical and mental injury. Plaintiff also alleges that his arrest was a result of NYPD’s “Stop and Frisk” policy, which encourages racial profiling. All charges against the plaintiff were terminated favorably.

Description: On June 16, 2017, PO Jose Rosa, Ray Sanchez, John Doe and John Roe approached Plaintiff without any legal reason to do so while he was playing basketball. They stopped him and stripped searched him. Plaintiff was then arraigned after his malicious arrest and prosecution for possession of marijuana. Plaintiff was incarcerated for over 24 hours and required to make several court appearances until all charges against him were terminated favorably.
