Complaint
Description: On July 6, 2018, NYPD Officers executed a search warrant at 487 Carlton Avenue, Apt. 25K, where Mr. Norman Long lives with roommates. Mr. Long was arrested for possession of a small amount of oxycodone, even though the oxycodone was prescribed to him by a doctor and therefore in his possession lawfully. The Officers unreasonably used force while arresting Mr. Long. At no point did Mr. Long resist arrest. During the execution of the warrant, the Officers also seized around $5,000 from Mr. Long's closet. Mr. Long was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
