Description: On August 25, 2017, the plaintiff was unlawfully arrested, detained, and imprisoned by the defendants without legal justification. Description: Plaintiff was unlawfully pulled over while driving his girlfriend's car. Defendant officer conducted a full search of the car's interior and found a billy club. The billy club belonged to plaintiff's girlfriend, a licensed security guard. Plaintiff was arrested, taken to the 46th Precinct, and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, operating a vehicle without headlights, and illegal window tint. Following plaintiff's arrest, his girlfriend went to the precinct with documentation showing that she lawfully owned both the vehicle and the billy club. Description: On April 29, 2015, Plaintiff participated in a peaceful "Black Lives Matter" rally in which police officers monitoring the rally were angry and hostile towards the protestors. Defendants Unidentified New York City Police Officers struck Plaintiff in the face several times, grabbed his hair and threw him to the ground, and stomped on his hand breaking his finger.
