Description: On July 15, 2014, plaintiff was a passenger in a taxi when it was pulled over. The defendant officers pulled plaintiff out of a cab and wrongfully searched him. Plaintiff was falsely arrested and dropped to the floor when an officer tugged on the chains of the handcuffs. Plaintiff was then kicked in his ribs and back. Plaintiff was falsely charged with a crime and spent 14 months in detention as a result of a parole violation before the case was dismissed after trial.

The officers began to arrest plaintiffs and without provocation, they beat plaintiffs repeatedly by punching them and using their batons. The charges against the plaintiffs are unknown, but the criminal prosecution was terminated favorably regarding the plaintiffs.
