Description: On January 15, 2013, Plaintiff left his apartment to visit a market. While exiting the store, Plaintiff was attacked by seven individuals after one of the attackers yelled his name. Plaintiff was kicked and hit multiple times for two to four minutes while laying on the ground in the fetal position. During the assault, one of the men yelled "Where's the gun?" repeatedly, to which Plaintiff replied, "I don't have a gun!" One of the officers eventually shouted, "He has no gun!" One of the men, Detective Oronges, reached into his coat pocket, pulled out a gun, and said, "This is your gun." Plaintiff denied that it was his gun, and Det.
