Description: On June 3, 2019, Plaintiff and his wife Vanessa were present in LAVO Restaurant and Nightclub when two unknown women tried to steal Vanessa's purse. Plaintiff had the two women escorted from the premises. Upon exiting, plaintiff and Vanessa saw the two women speaking to uniformed NYPD officers. The officers approached Plaintiff and Vanessa in an aggressive manner. A minor physical altercation between Vanessa and one of the unknown women ensued, and the NYPD officers failed to intervene. The officers instead turned their attention to plaintiff and Vanessa.
