Complaint
Description: On or about July 4, 2019, police officers Graziadio and John Doe I arrested Saul Almonte outside of 30 East Clarke Place in Bronx. Almonte was physically harassed and handcuffed by the officers in an excessive manner. The police officers, however, did not have a probable cause to proceed in such a manner nor did Almonte consent to such a proceeding. Almonte was then taken to a precinct where he was confined against his will. The police officers arrested Almonte based on racial profiling and maliciously continued to prosecute him. Almonte was consequently deprived of his freedom. Almonte also suffered from physical pain, emotional distress, ridicule, and reputational harm.
