When Defendant Officers arrived, they berated her and made racist/sexist comments towards her and threatened to take her children away. Defendant Officer Muro slapped her in the face and Defendant Officer Kaminsky gave her a ticket for disorderly conduct, which was later dismissed.

Description: On July 14, 2013 at about 4:00am, Plainitff was lawfully within the premised 115 Van Siclen Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. Here, Plainitff was arrested by multiple members of the NYPD, including defendant Nicholas Munro and unknown Officers John/Jane Does 1-4, and taken to the 75th Precinct, and charged with domestic violence. Plaintiff was after brought to Riker’s Island where he remained until his court date of July 19, 2021. Plainitff was released at 4:00am on July 23, 2017. By the reason of the foregoing false arrest, plaintiff’s health was impaired, plaintiff suffered great mental distress, indignity, and humiliation, his reputation and character were injured; his earning power permanently impaired.
