Description: On February 4, 2023, several police officers including Andrews Uribe approached Plaintiff in the vicinity of 721 Tinton Avenue, where Plaintiff was lawfully present. Despite lacking probable cause, reasonable suspicion, a valid warrant, or any legal justification, the officers stopped, grabbed, and searched Plaintiff in an aggressive manner. The officers then arrested and transported Plaintiff to a police station. After Plaintiff's arraignment, the officers initiated a malicious prosecution against Plaintiff based on false charges. Plaintiff was detained for over 24 hours. After several court appearances, charges against Plaintiff were terminated favorably.
