Complaint
Description: On June 18, 2013, Plaintiff was woken up by several NYPD officers including Officer James Tasevoli banging on his door. The officers arrested Plaintiff after ransacking his home despite having no probable cause to believe that he committed any crimes. The officers recovered no contraband. Plaintiff was transported to the 75th Precinct where he was not allowed to make a phone call. Despite not being charged, Plaintiff was not allowed to leave. Plaintiff was transported to Brooklyn Central Booking where he was released before seeing a judge after approximately 24 hours in custody.
