Description: On April 26, 2014, while plaintiff was exercising her First Amendment near the corner of West 45th Street and Broadway in Manhattan, a defendant police officer pulled their vehicle up to the curb beside plaintiff, exited their vehicle, immediately grabbed plaintiff by the arms, then forcefully handcuffed her. Plaintiff was subsequently searched and forcefully placed in a police vehicle. She was transported to a nearby police precinct, where she was searched and confined in a holding cell without her consent.
