Description: On February 4, 2020, at a New York City Police Department Special Victims Squad location, plaintiff Dajhoun Perez was detained and arrested by detectives Rashan Austin, Elijah Austin, Pagano and by sergeant Marte. Plaintiff was placed in a lineup for a robbery that had occurred in Brooklyn on January 15, 2020, at approximately 12:30 p.m. The defendants falsely reported that the plaintiff was positively identified in the lineup and a video from the place of the robbery. Therefore, plaintiff was detained for 40 hours before arraignment. All wrongful charges against the plaintiff were dismissed.

Description: On August 14, 2013, at approximately 11:00 p.m., plaintiff was accosted by three plainclothes police officers in the lobby of her apartment building in Brooklyn, New York. The officers forcibly subdued plaintiff, assaulting her and causing her shirt to come up over her head and her pants to be pulled down. They handcuffed her without probable cause and transported her to a police precinct. At the precinct, the officers falsely informed the Kings County District Attorney's Office that plaintiff had committed several crimes, including multiple counts of assault.
