Description: On October 13, 2021, the plaintiff, Kwabee Williams, was unlawfully detained and arrested while shopping at the Target Store located at 519 Gateway Drive, Brooklyn, New York by the defendants, NYPD Police Officer Gurwinder Singh (shield #17991) and other NYPD police officers John Does #s 1-10 (identities unknown). The defendants arrested Mr. Williams based on false and discriminatory accusations. The defendants used excessive and unnecessary force when arresting Mr. Williams, causing him to reinjure his shoulder. Mr. Williams was transported to the 75th Precinct.
