Description: This is class action brought by named plaintiff, Bridget Capobianco and a class of plaintiff which where held for several hours in one of the City’s Central Booking Facilities at least once on separate dates ranging from February 2020 to approximately October, 2021. The plaintiff Bridget Capobianco was held in Brooklyn Central Booking facilities July 27, 2020. The plaintiffs lament the deplorable conditions of the Central Booking Facilities which entail among the others: no covid protections, overcrowding, unsanitary toilets, garbage, infestation, inadequate of food and water, lack of toiletries and other hygienic items, heat, poor ventilation, sleep deprivation, crime.
