Description: On April 17, 2017, NYPD officers stopped their police car near Mr. Tillman, who was lawfully standing beside his parked vehicle at 116th Street in Queens, NY, and told him he could not have open liquor. Despite handing the bottle over to a friend, Police Officers exited their vehicle and created fear and apprehension which led Mr. Tillman to run away. Within one minute of running, four police officers shot multiple rounds at Mr. Tillman, killing him instantly. Upon information and belief the NYPD members involved include: Sergeant Thomas Sorrentino, Police Officer Michael Renna, Police Officer Kenneth Stallone, Police Officer Mateusz Krzeminski and Police Officer John Arnold.

Description: Plaintiff was approached and asked to provide his identification on the Coney Island Boardwalk. When plaintiff asked why, Officers arrested him. Defendants then knocked him to the ground, assaulted and battered plaintiff including striking him with closed fists, batons, kicking him and ripping off plaintiff's shirt. Charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, which were later ACD'd.
