Summary

On June 12, 2018, at approximately 7:30 p.m., [redacted] and his former roommate, [redacted] arrived at their residence [redacted] and encountered three individuals, one of whom allegedly had a knife, and told them that they were sent by [redacted] the landlady, to "get them out." [redacted] called the police and when they arrived [redacted] and [redacted] explained to the officers that he resides in the building and that an individual inside was armed with a knife. [redacted] also called the police on June 12, 2018 and requested that police respond to [redacted] because the house was vacated but people were burglarizing it and squatting. [redacted] and [redacted] remained outside on the sidewalk while an officer called [redacted] and spoke to her. After speaking to [redacted] the officer told [redacted] and [redacted] that they had to leave the residence because [redacted] had given him proof that they could not reside there. Two officers entered the building while [redacted] and [redacted] remained on the sidewalk. One of the officers entered the apartment and the other "poked his head" through the doorway (Allegations A-Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Police Officer Thomas Mcardle, of the 106th Precinct entered [redacted]s apartment (Allegation B-Abuse of Authority, [redacted]).
