Complaint
Description: On March 11th, 2014, Plaintiff was driving and stopped at a police checkpoint. He was asked for his license and registration, which he produced. He was asked to step out of the vehicle. He was told by NYPD officers "we think your license is suspended but the system isn't telling us why". As Plaintiff started to walk back to the car to get proof of his license, NYPD P.O. Stephen Giustino and others grabbed his arm and threw him to the ground. Other officers then handcuffed him extremely tightly. Plaintiff suffered head and eye injuries. The officers then caused Plaintiff to be falsely charged.
