Complaint
Description: On May 8, 2019, Plaintiff was lawfully waiting for a taxicab near Schaefer Street and Wilson Avenue in Brooklyn when Defendant police officers unlawfully approached, pursued, stopped, and searched him, including his pockets, the waistband of his pants, and underneath his clothing. Plaintiff was then falsely arrested for allegedly interfering in an earlier arrest, an incident that never occurred. The arrest was driven by retaliation from Police Officer Karimzada, against whom Plaintiff had previously filed a misconduct complaint. Plaintiff was handcuffed and transported to the 83rd Precinct, where he was unlawfully searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and detained for many hours. He was later taken to Kings C...
