Description: On February 11, 2014, Plaintiff, who worked at a business at a mall, was at the restroom when officers Maldonado and Ryan entered. Officer Maldonado entered with her gun drawn and pointing at Plaintiff as he was using a urinal. She ordered Plaintiff to get on the floor. Officer Ryan entered and assisted Officer Maldonado. Plaintiff was informed that he was stopped because Officer Maldonado allegedly saw Plaintiff come from a train station with a knife in his possession. Plaintiff was not in possession of a knife and he did not take the train to work. Officer Maldonado was not able to find a knife in the restroom.
